Jeff Hemme, Broker

Our founder and broker, Jeff Hemme, has been selling real estate in Columbia since 2010 with a real estate license.  Prior to that, Jeff sold his own new construction homes, alongside a realtor since 2000. With the experience he gained while selling his Hemme Construction homes for years, Jeff started his own real estate brokerage, Copper Creek Realty.

Orie Hemme, REALTOR®, PSA

For years, Orie has been around the real estate industry through helping his family with homes at Hemme Construction. In 2017, he became a licensed REALTOR® and has had several successful transactions. Orie helps manage 40+ rental properties, but he specializes in the sale of residential real estate. Orie is happy to help with buy or selling, and will be successful in doing so.

Amy Elliott Broker-Salesperson, SRES®, GRI, PSA

Amy has enjoyed working in real estate for 8 years. She moved to Columbia from the state of California 15 years ago and knows what it takes to move across country. She loves helping her buyers and sellers with all the details involved in a move of that magnitude, while also enjoying the little moves too! She has been married 25 years and has two beautiful and intelligent daughters. Family, church and her clients are her passion and she nurtures each one diligently. Amy has enjoyed working in a leadership role in an international Bible study, enjoys serving others and loves spending time with friends over coffee. “Your best friend in real estate” is Amy’s tagline because she loves her clients and remains friends long after the sold sign is removed.

Amy’s specialties include helping sellers prepare their homes for today’s market; with strategic positioning, staging, and professional photography all working together to get her listings sold quickly. She thinks outside of the box and has negotiated for her clients’ some rather unique opportunities such as possession prior to closing for buyers, rent back for her sellers, and home trades when necessary. Her motto is “if we don’t ask, we don’t get” and isn’t afraid to be unconventional in her strategies. Amy has a great sense of what home buyers are connecting with and helps them find the house that becomes home.

Amy achieved one of her goals in her business by earning her broker’s license in March of 2017. She has just completed the educational requirements for her GRI and has received her SRES designation (Senior’s Real Estate Specialist) and is working toward becoming Columbia’s go-to broker for senior care. She loves working with new buyers, senior buyers and everyone in between!

Emalee Gilberg, Sales Manager & Marketing Director, PSA

Emalee has been involved in the real estate industry since 2013, first starting by assisting with marketing properties. In 2015 she became a licensed REALTOR®, working with buyers and sellers and selling new construction homes and in 2018 she obtained her broker license. Emalee manages the sales of the agents at Copper Creek Realty and handles our marketing.
